Project Description
Dr. Tasneem Majid knew she wanted to work with children from an early age. She always says, “Children’s innocence is refreshing, and their inquisitive minds are such a joy to be around.” Her father, a radiologist, was her inspiration to enter into the medical profession as well. She was born in India and graduated from one of the top medical schools in the country, Osmania University, with distinction. Upon completing her medical education, she moved to New York where she was offered training positions in multiple hospitals and programs but ultimately settled on Brooklyn Hospital where she received her specialty training in Pediatrics. She went on to complete her Critical Care Fellowship at UMDNJ, where she took care of the sickest babies and children. After completing her training there, she went on to practice in the New Jersey area, and soon after relocated to Indianapolis, IN with her family, starting a medical practice with her husband, Dr. Mohammed Majid. She is the backbone of the office and makes sure everything runs smoothly. Outside of work, Dr. T (as she is lovingly referred to in the office) enjoys spending time with her three children and family. She loves to cook and bake and is always experimenting with new recipes. She also loves to garden and has multiple plants in her backyard that she uses in her everyday cooking. Be sure to ask her about the new vegetables she has growing at home!
